Hydrogen spa technology

Hydrogen bath systems dissolve molecular hydrogen into bathing water using SPE/PEM electrolysis. A proton-exchange membrane separates hydrogen from oxygen at the electrode stack, and a gas-liquid separation stage delivers hydrogen into the water without introducing reactive metals, tablets or chemical additives. Output is continuous and repeatable across sessions, and there are no consumables to replace.

Systems specified for spa and hotel environments run long duty cycles, operate at low noise levels and are rated for approximately 10,000 hours of stack service life.

Reactive-metal generation vs SPE/PEM electrolysis

Tablet-based products generate hydrogen by reacting magnesium (and related metals) with water. The reaction is consumable-driven, output varies with tablet age and water conditions, and it leaves reactive-metal by-products and residue in the vessel. SPE/PEM electrolysis instead splits purified water at a proton-exchange membrane: no metals are consumed, no residue is produced, and flow rate and purity stay stable across extended run times.
